This clay class meets from 3:00-4:30pm on June 2-5, 2025. All student works will be kiln-fired, and be available for pickup at a date to be determined (likely the last week of June).
In this class, we will be making sculptures of various animals and plants, learning the sgraffito carving method, and more. Any functional pieces will be glazed with dinnerware safe glaze, and will be safe for eating, drinking, holding fresh flowers, etc.
This clay class is recommended for ages 8+. Younger students are allowed, but may struggle with some of the hand building techniques used.
Supplies are included in the registration fee.
The class size is capped at 15 students. This is to ensure adequate time for one-on-one guidance and assistance with projects.
