It’s About Time…
I’ve been so busy with so many other art ventures that I have neglected my own public face on the web – my website! Part of the reason for this is that I had huge aspirations for how I wanted to design it and lay everything out. Those plans would have been far more aesthetically interesting than this layout, but real life has to happen to all of us at one time or another. In the end, I chose a free WordPress theme that does the job far better than the one I built for myself around 20 months ago. I’ve also combed through every page and post to ensure that all of the image galleries are shown with adequate captions, updated the wording on various pages, cleaned up some outdated sections, and added a new Terms of Service section to the website.
Why the rush? More info will be coming your way very soon, but I am beginning the preparations and plans for a boatload of Summer Art Camps, and I wanted the website looking fresh before I start advertising for online registrations. Also, as my YouTube channel grows (reached 100 subscribers today!), I am getting more traffic on the website. I plan to overhaul the look and feel of the YouTube page as well, in order to give a more consistent design between the two.
